Our story

A Legacy of Craft, Innovation, and Education

AXIS Hair Salon was founded in 1989 by visionary stylist Foster Eastman and has grown into a leading Vancouver hair salon known for precision cutting, expert colour, and an elevated client experience.

Located in Coal Harbour, AXIS is home to a team of highly trained hairstylists who are passionate about creating modern, wearable hair tailored to each client. From seamless colour and lived-in blondes to precision cuts and styling, every service is approached with care, detail, and intention.

Education has always been at the core of AXIS. Through in salon training and mentorship, the team continues to refine their skills and stay current with the latest techniques. Over the years, AXIS has helped train more than 1,500 hairstylists, shaping talent within the Vancouver hair industry.

In 1997, AXIS introduced its own professional hair care line, a clean, Canadian made collection designed to support healthy, salon quality hair at home.
Today, AXIS continues to build on its legacy, offering high quality hair services in Vancouver with a focus on great hair, ongoing education, and a personalized experience.
